Marinara sauce
Ingredients 2(14 1/2ounce) cans diced tomatoes 1 (28ounce) cans crushed tomatoes 1 cup diced onion 1 diced pepper 1 tablespoon dried basil leaves 2 teaspoons italian seaoning 2 tablespoons sugar(to taste) 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes(optional) Cooking Directions 1. In a saucepan, saute the onions and pepper, but do not let them brown 2. To the saucepan, add the liquid drained from the diced tomatoes. add the basil, italian seasonings, sugar and crushed red peppers. simmer liquid and spices for about 30 mintues or until liquid is reduced by half 3. Add the diced tomatoes and crushed tomatoes and cook just until heated, about i minute 4. If you perfer, you can used whole tomatoes and dice them, saving any tomatoe liquid for step 2 Use this sauce for any pasta. Enjoy our food and come back for more Roasted Red Pepper Sauce
